🚍 4-Hour Scenic Tour of Dingle & Slea Head
Discover the stunning beauty of Dingle and the Slea Head Drive on our Dingle Open Top Tour. Departing from Dingle Marina Car Park, this 4-hour experience takes you through breathtaking coastal views, historic sites, and iconic landmarks. Please note, this is not a hop-on-hop-off tour, and visitors must stay on the scheduled route.


Departure From Dingle Marina Car Park
We head towards Ventry, passing by scenic Ventry Beach and beautiful views of South Kerry. You’ll also catch a glimpse of the famous Paidi O Sé’s pub.
1st Stop: Dingle Fairy Fort
Explore the fascinating Dingle Fairy Fort, an ancient univallate RATH (also known as a Ringfort or Lios). This well-preserved site offers panoramic views and traces of 3 or 4 huts and a souterrain.
Entrance is €2.50 (not included in ticket price). You can also visit the animal pet farm and interact with animals like sheep, goats, and donkeys (animal feed provided).


2nd Stop: Dobey’s Takeaway / Ealú @ Stonehouse / Dunbeg Fort
A great opportunity to sample the local flavours with a Lobster Roll from Dobey’s, or enjoy coffee and refreshments at Ealú @ Stonehouse.
These are not included in the ticket price but offer a chance to enjoy local cuisine while taking in spectacular views of the Atlantic coastline.

3rd Stop: Cashel Murphy – Beehive Huts Historic Monument
Visit Cashel Murphy, a fascinating historic monument featuring traditional Beehive Huts (Clocháin) similar to those found on Skellig Michael.
This ancient site offers incredible views across the peninsula and provides a unique insight into early monastic life on the Dingle Peninsula.
Entrance is €4 (not included in ticket price).
4th Stop: Dunquin Pier, Graveyard & Peig Sayers’ Grave
Marvel at the spectacular scenery of Slea Head, with sweeping views of the Blasket Islands and rugged coastline.
Stop at the famous Dunquin Pier, one of the most photographed locations on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Visitors will have the opportunity to view the historic graveyard and Peig Sayers’ grave, before walking down to admire the dramatic views of the Blasket Islands from Dunquin Pier.


5th Stop: Kruger’s Bar

Return to Dingle
As we travel back towards Dingle, enjoy stunning views of Clogher Strand and Sybil Head, which appeared in Star Wars.
We finish the tour as we pass Bric’s Pub, Leath Thaoibh, the breathtaking Three Sisters, with Mount Brandon towering in the distance, setting the scene as Gallarus Castle emerges into view — possibly even Gallarus Oratory.
And just as you think it can’t get any better, an incredible panoramic vista of Dingle Bay unfolds as you approach Bóthar Fada.
